It used to be that we couldn't even leave the house without him. I see that he's a little less important than he once was, but he's still her sleeping buddy and goes in the car with us everywhere. Now he stays in the car though, instead of coming with us. So you can imagine that the new Winnie the Pooh movie was high on our list of things to see. It was cute, only a smidge over an hour. There was lots of laughing and a small tear from me seeing my girl growing up.
"If there ever comes a day
when we can't be together,
keep me in your heart.
I'll stay there forever."
-Pooh-
I took this picture this morning as I went to wake her up. Can you see Pooh peeking out from underneath her? I know that the day she gives him up, I will cry like a baby. |
My baby girl is 27, married with her own little girl....YES, they do grow up too fast. Enjoy every minute of your little sweet heart.
ReplyDeleteOnly a smidge over an hour...good to know, I think I can handle that.
ReplyDeleteI try to Jackie but sometimes the idea of all the fun we'll have in the future makes me miss things! I'm getting better though:)
ReplyDeleteSandra- it really was cute. We actually laughed a couple of times.
Oh me too! I would like to keep my kiddos young forever, but I love to see them progress too. I love that she is so attached to that bear. I kept my bear all the way through high school--maybe I was to attached. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post! My little girl is 13 now. She loved Pooh too, and slept with him for years. The other day she was going through her toy chest and found pooh. We all got a little teary eyed and she said she would never give him up. Enjoy all those special moments. I'm your latest follower and would love it if you stopped by my family's blog if you get a chance.
ReplyDeleteI was never attached to anything as a child, toys things that I liked but could live without. I love that Annabelle has her Pooh. It always makes me smile:)
ReplyDeleteYoung Adventures- thank you for following! I've been trying to just eat up all those sweet moments and laugh at the rough ones!
